Photoshop Assignment

The following is a demonstration of some Photoshop skills we learned in Multimedia Class 110. This is posted temporarily on this page until I sort out and correct my professional portfolio website.

Application of 6 Different Photoshop Effects

I chose a photograph of a gorgeous Keel-billed Toucan for this assignment.  This photograph was taken when we visited Macaw Mountain, an ecological park focused on bird conservation, rehabilitation and accommodation.  In this park, visitors go inside the aviary where one can observe and photograph the birds up close and personal for an unlimited amount of time.

Restoration of a Damaged Photo

This is photograph of me and my mom/aunt (she adopted me when I was 6 months old) taken at a school awarding ceremony when I was  in Fourth Grade (1975).  p.s., I look like my son in a dress 🙂

Photo adjustment and addition of another Macaw in the image.

For this project, I chose a picture I took of some rescued and released macaws near the ancient Mayan Ruins in Copan, Honduras.  In the original photograph, the colors were washed-out. Thanks to Photoshop, the adjusted photo now show the true colors of the macaws and even gained an extra bird!
